Staff Member Ciara Billman

Ciara is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Master of Science in Counseling. Ciara has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, families, and groups. She is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults going through difficult times. She has experience working with adolescents needing higher levels of care who have experienced trauma. Ciara uses different evidence-based approaches including CBT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused therapy. She believes in focusing on client strengths and finding meaning in past experiences that shape who they are today.

As a counselor, Ciara is passionate about connecting with her clients and creating a warm, empathic, inviting environment, where clients can freely express themselves without the fear of judgment. Ciara strives to meet clients where they are at and provide a safe space to allow clients to become an expert in their own life.

Ciara is an LPC Associate and will be seeing clients in person or online at MCP Counseling under the supervision of Melinda Porter, LPC-S, CST.
